Asuris EmbarkSM Expanded Office Services optional benefit now available
On July 1, an optional benefit became available with our Embark group product. The Expanded Office Services benefit provides members with access to certain office services before the deductible is met.
When a group purchases this benefit, the following services (including related supplies), when performed in the provider's office, are subject to coinsurance only (the deductible and the copayment do not apply):
- Anesthesia
- Office surgeries
- General medicine
- Therapeutic injections
Examples include:
- Acne surgery
- Allergy shots
- Wound repair
- Moderate sedation services
- Incision and drainage of abscess
- Cast supplies such as plaster or fiberglass
- Therapeutic injections of covered medications
