Office Ally is a Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)-compliant clearinghouse based in California that offers Web-based transmission and tracking for CMS-1500, UB-04 and ADA J400-J404 claim forms.

An alternative to paper claims
Office Ally offers free electronic claims submission to more than 2,000 health plans for those who currently submit on paper. With Office Ally:

  • You can enter claims directly using the Web-based browser-tool
  • You have a centralized location where claims for most health plans can be transmitted and tracked
  • Claims from most practice management software packages are accepted

It's easy to use

You don't need to be computer-savvy to take advantage of Office Ally's online claims submission. Once registered with Office Ally, simply log into Office Ally's Web site. Your Office Ally user name and password are all you need.

From there, you can enter claims information directly into the browser tool or upload a file from your claims processing software. Please include your National Provider Identifier (NPI) and tax identification number in the appropriate field on each claim form.

NOTE:

  • Be sure to submit your claims with the Legacy ID number for your provider or facility.
  • Your NPI number must be loaded in our Provider Information Management System in order to avoid pended claims. Submit your NPI to Asuris today.

Enroll for 835 Electronic Remittance Advices (ERAs)

We encourage you to receive your remittance advices (payment vouchers) electronically. Enrollment is quick and easy.

Follow the instructions on the 835 ERA enrollment form (PDF) to begin receiving ERAs.

Data verification

Before sending a claim, Office Ally checks for correct dates, valid procedure and diagnosis codes, and standard HIPAA requirements. Claims are then promptly sent electronically to health plans. You can also choose to have Office Ally mail any claims to health plans who don't accept electronic claims. Claims are sent free of charge to health plans that accept electronic claims submissions. There is an additional fee to send paper claims from Office Ally.

After your claims are validated and processed, Office Ally sends an email confirmation receipt. You will also receive a summary report detailing the accepted claims as well as the rejected claims with the reason(s) for rejection.

  • Appoint an administrator from your organization who will manage staff access to online services
