Asuris discontinues closed Individual plans
As a non-profit health plan, Asuris is committed to delivering the highest value in health care coverage to our members. Part of that commitment requires that we become as efficient as possible in supporting our high standards for customer service and member experience. The launch of our Asuris EmergeSM family of products was part of an effort to streamline administrative costs and guide our members to our newer, health-focused plans. We thank you for your support of these new products. To further this process, we have made the decision to discontinue all of our closed Individual plans and move your clients to a comparable Emerge product. Moving to the Emerge products allows us to focus on providing the best overall value to meet the coverage needs of our community.
Your affected clients will begin receiving their notifications beginning late-July. Examples of those notices will be posted to our agent website prior to mailing.

We have attached mapping information. If you have at least 25 Individual subscribers with Asuris, you will receive additional information specific to your book of business the week of July 12 to support you as you answer your clients' transition questions. The information will contain:
- Subscriber ID number, name, primary address and telephone number
- Date of birth of the subscriber
- Date of birth of the spouse/domestic partner
- Number of dependents
- Current plan name and deductible
- Current rate
