Rx COB added to some products for Jan. 1
Effective Jan. 1, 2010, Asuris Northwest Health is adding coordination of benefits (COB) for pharmacy claims to EmbarkSM, VantageSM, MotivateSM, Asuris HSA Healthplan 2.0SM and Asuris Health Insights. This is good news for your clients because our other products generally don't provide pharmacy COB.
This change applies to new and renewing groups that choose a medical and pharmacy plan with an effective date of Jan. 1, 2010, or later (unless previously customized).
Members can continue to have their primary coverage billed electronically at the pharmacy. They can then use a direct member reimbursement form, available at RegenceRx.com, to submit their copays to us for secondary coverage.
