Remember to qualify group size before submitting a quote in Agent Center
We'd like to remind you to qualify your client's group size before submitting a quote in Agent Center. Quoting in Agent Center is available only to groups of 1 to 50 employees.
Group size is determined by the average count of the total number of employees who were on the group's payroll during the previous calendar year. Employee count should include employees from any affiliated company, business owners, corporate officers, full-time workers, part-time workers, partners, seasonal staff, union employees and employees who work outside the state of Washington.
Groups that were not in business during the previous calendar year would base their group size on the current calendar year. The term "employee" means any individual employed by an employer. Contracted 1099 individuals are not included.
Rates returned for groups rated in an incorrect pool will not be honored and could cause delay or deferral of a group's application.
