Third-quarter Health Trends article to focus on diversity
The third installment of our Health Trends education series for customers is titled Diversity in the Workplace - Health Implications. As reports have shown, the United States population is becoming more diverse. Employers should be aware of demographic shifts and understand that there is a new environment where a "one-size-fits-all" approach to employee health benefits are not effective in today's workplace. Disparities in health and health care exist even among employers with equal benefits.
This paper examines the influence these demographic shifts may have on the marketplace in general and, specifically, on health care issues. You may find it helpful in consultations with clients.
