03/31/2009   Update to recent delay in prescription claims data

Last December we notified groups of 100+ and their agents of delays that occurred in the loading of prescription claims data into our billing and reporting systems.

Those delays affected claims for prescriptions filled between Dec. 17, 2008, and Jan. 31, 2009. Groups with self-funded prescription coverage were under-billed for this time period. In addition, prescription claims data were under-reported in our Employer Benefits Reporting (EBR) system and Agent Center reporting, as well as on myAsuris.com. Please note that this issue has had no effect upon our members' ability to use their prescription drug benefits or upon provider reimbursement.

You are a valued health care partner, so we are committed to keeping you informed about issues that might impact our ability to serve our groups and members.

Therefore, we want to let you know that the missing prescription data will be showing on reports for March, due out in mid-April. For self-insured accounts there will be a line item outlining paid claims data on the next claims billing.
