Register for the 2008 Asuris University
The 2008 Asuris University will be held at the Spokane Convention Conference Center on Oct. 23.
This year's symposium will feature Steven Aldana, Ph.D., as our keynote speaker. A former professor of lifestyle medicine at Brigham Young University, Dr. Aldana is currently the CEO and founder of WellSteps, which provides consulting services and guidance to many of the nation's largest corporations. He has published more than 60 scientific articles and seven books on the impact of healthy lifestyles on chronic diseases. Dr. Aldana is a regular consultant to the CDC, the National Institutes of Health, and the California Department of Health Services. He is an engaging speaker who will challenge and re-energize you to take charge of your health.
We will also follow the journey of John Waechter, a Pacific Northwest climber who has reached the highest summit on each of the seven continents. As John will share, the success of a journey hinges on preparation, having the right equipment, and getting knowledge and leadership from each individual and from the team leader, or guide.
The symposium theme, "Guiding the Journey," is a reference to your role in guiding employers and members along their health care journey. To support you, we've arranged a program that includes information on industry trends, telling statistics, and announcements about new products and online tools. We'll also share enhancements to existing products and resources we know you depend on to serve your clients well.
