Jonathan Hensley named market president of Asuris Northwest Health
I am pleased to announce that Jonathan Hensley has been named market president of Asuris Northwest Health.
This is a homecoming—for Jonathan and Asuris—and we're excited to welcome him back to our organization in the role as Washington president starting Aug. 1, 2008. Jonathan served as Vice President of Sales for Asuris for three years before leaving in 2007 to accept a position as CEO of UnitedHealthcare's Northwest Region.
With 25 years of sales and industry leadership experience, Jonathan has deep connections to our stakeholders and partners in the Washington market. In addition to his experience with United and Asuris, he has held positions with several regional and national health care companies, including Humana in Chicago, Premera Blue Cross in Washington, and CIGNA HealthCare in Hartford.
Jonathan has strong ties to the community, and serves on the board of the local chapter of the American Red Cross. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina, where he earned a bachelor's degree in political science.
Jonathan is deeply grounded in our cause, core strategies and principles. These strengths, combined with his energy, enthusiasm and good humor, make him the perfect fit for this key leadership position.
