08/05/2008   MotivateSM joins EmbarkSM and VantageSM in the self-managed plans!

Aug. 1, 2008, was the first available effective date for groups of any size on our newest product, MotivateSM. Embark and Vantage have been incredibly well-received! Embark's unlimited Up-Front benefit is one of the most popular self-managed plan designs. This benefit provides members with unlimited, pre-deductible office visits and up to $400 each year in pre-deductible radiology and laboratory coverage. We are thrilled by the market's overwhelming positive response to these products.

Up until now, these successful products have been available only to groups of 2 to 99. This summer we made them available to groups of all sizes, and we expect to see their popularity grow.

Building on the innovation and success of Embark and Vantage, Motivate is a unique product that offers members Web-based rewards for participating in healthy activities.

  • By participating in healthy behaviors, members can earn Member Choice Funds to help pay for qualified, out-of-pocket medical expenses, including deductibles and coinsurance.
  • For the first time, members will experience how their lifestyle choices have a direct impact on their health and their wallets.
You may have seen recent ads promoting these products in the community. Anyone who responded to the ads was encouraged to contact their agent or call Asuris toll-free. We have also pages on our Web site dedicated to Embark, Vantage and Motivate.

  • View new member coverage summaries and accumulators under My Navigator.
  • Another popular new feature is the Member Review of providers and facilities in the provider search.
  • The Resource Center in My Community gives members online access to Customer Service and health care specialists.
