Medicare supplement rates to increase for 2007
Asuris Northwest Health will increase rates on all standard (except Plan J) and prestandard Medicare supplement products for 2007. While we are constantly looking at ways to direct rate dollars toward the cost of care for our members, this increase is necessary to meet the rising cost of claims expenses associated with the services and benefits provided under the plans.
These changes, approved by the Washington State Office of the Insurance Commissioner, will take effect March 1, 2007. We will send the following letters to current Medicare supplement members in mid-January:
