12/18/2006  Letter sent to members taking lower-strength Lipitor®

On Dec. 4, we sent a letter to 197 Asuris members who are currently taking 10 mg or 20 mg of Lipitor®. The letter describes the potential cost savings offered by the several available generics (generic alternatives, NOT therapeutic equivalents). The letter is informational only, and there is no mandate or change required.
