11/06/2006 Dental network update

As you may be aware, Asuris Northwest Health implemented a dental PPO network in January of this year. During discussions about this change, brokers and agents have asked that we provide more detail regarding this network and its availability to Asuris members.

While members can continue to access dental services from any licensed provider, those members who receive dental services from a participating provider will receive the maximum benefit allowed, direct provider reimbursement and lower out-of-pocket costs.

In the coming weeks, we are sending a postcard to all of our dental customers encouraging them to check our Web site often, as we are continuing to add new dentists to the network. If you would like us to contact a particular dentist about contracting with Asuris, please contact your Sales executive. He or she can forward the information to  our Provider Relations Department.

For a current list of Asuris dental providers, please see the Asuris dental provider directory. Asuris members who receive dental services in Benton, Chelan, Grant, Franklin, Kittitas, Okanogan and Whitman counties also have access to Regence BlueShield contracted dental providers. You’ll find these providers on the Regence Web site.
