10/23/2006 Service levels improving for Customer Service

Earlier this month, you and your customers may have experienced longer wait times when calling Customer Service. While there have been recent challenges, we are pleased to report that we’ve been able to significantly improve our service levels over the past few weeks.

Recently, 64 customer service representatives (CSRs) were placed into production after eight weeks of classroom training. These CSRs are dedicated to serving members in Washington. In addition, we have a class of 59 CSRs currently in training; they will be in production, supporting Washington members, before the end of the year.

Please be assured that we are monitoring our service levels on a daily basis, and we are doing everything possible to maximize our telephone performance. We are confident that we are positioned to support year-end activity for you and your clients at optimal service levels.
