It is no surprise that medication costs continue to rise at alarming rates. However, there are ways we can help our members better understand their choices and benefits and make more informed health care decisions.

In the past, our members could find this valuable information online at RegenceRx.com. Now, this wealth of pharmacy-related information for members has been integrated into the Asuris Engine (myasuris.com), making the Engine truly a "one-stop shop" for members looking for information and guidance that can help them better understand and navigate the health care system.

In an expanded "Health & Rx Guide" in the My Advisor section, members will discover an improved search functionality that allows them to conduct a quick search for medication information, including descriptions, images, generic options, formulary status and costs. Also within the Health & Rx Guide are other new tools, such as a Medication Identification Tool, which can help members identify what the different colored medications in their pill boxes may be, as well as a Medication Interaction Tool, which creates medication lists and analyzes possible interactions among multiple medications. In addition, there is a new Rx Article Library, which contains prescription and formulary-related content.

RegenceRx.com will continue to serve as an important resource for employers, physicians and prospective members. However, for our current members, this exciting new integration of prescription information will only improve the advice and navigation needed to help them journey down the road to better health.
