Community Partner Organizations
One way Asuris reaches out to the community is through support of Community Partner Organizations (CPOs), which are designated by Asuris and The Regence Group executives. Here are company’s current CPOs.
Regional
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is a national agency dedicated to curing leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and to improving the quality of life of patients and their families.
The Boys & Girls Clubs instill a sense of competence, usefulness, belonging and influence in all of the children they serve through programs that encourage healthy lifestyles, educational success and leadership. The Boys and Girls Clubs are safe, accessible places to learn and grow - all while having fun.
Washington
In the Asuris market, the Inland Northwest Chapter of the American Red Cross serves seven counties in Eastern Washington, providing relief to victims of disaster and helping families to prevent and prepare for emergencies.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of King County works to inspire and enable all young people to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens. Serving 18,000+ members annually, programs include character and leadership development, education and career development, health and life skills, the arts, and sports and recreation.
Neighborhood House helps diverse communities of people attain their goals for self-sufficiency, reach financial independence and find a meaningful place in a caring community.
Idaho
The Idaho Foodbank partners with nonprofit agencies, the food industry, government, volunteers, corporations and individuals to provides food, information and supportive services to hungry people throughout the state.
The Treasure Valley YMCA provides an array of services to children, youth and families through community programs, camp, health facilities and child care centers.
Oregon
As a leader and innovator in building stronger families, Albertina Kerr Centers works to heal children with emotional or mental health challenges and to create possibilities for a better life for individuals with developmental disabilities.
Catholic Charities brings hope, resources and advocacy to the poor and most vulnerable regardless of faith, race, marital status or condition in life. The organization's services include housing, disaster relief, Latino services, human trafficking outreach, immigration services and pregnancy support.
The Dougy Center for Grieving Children provides a safe and supportive place for children, teens, young adults and their families who are grieving a death to share their stories. The Dougy Center does this through education, training and peer support groups.
The Oregon Lions Sight & Hearing Foundation provides accessible and affordable vision and hearing services to those who may not otherwise receive services. They fulfill their mission of “Creating Healthier Communities” through a variety of programs, including preventative screenings, a patient care program, a children's low vision clinic and a vision research laboratory.
Utah
The Road Home provides support and shelter for individuals and families working to overcome homelessness.
Through food collection and distribution programs, the Kids Café, senior services and 2-1-1 services, the Utah Food Bank is working to meet the needs of people who don't know where else to turn.
The Regence Foundation
The Regence Foundation was established as a nonprofit organization under Section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code in late 2007, with the first grant activity taking place in first quarter of 2008. As Asuris's corporate foundation, The Regence Foundation was created to serve as the primary vehicle for philanthropic contributions across our four-state region: Idaho, Oregon, Washington and Utah. The Foundation provides grants to aid nonprofit organizations in furthering their work in our three core program areas: Building Healthier Communities, Transforming Health Care and End-Of-Life.
